An object is the terminological lexis the of modern English-language economic texts; a purpose is setting up the peculiarities of the terminological lexis as the means of cohesion in English-language economic texts; scientific novelty - first of all on the base of English-language economic texts was carried out the analysis of realization of the cohesive-coherent potential of terminological lexis in the aspect of its structural, semantic, pragmatic and discursive features; methods - the descriptive-analytical, semantic-functional, sociolinguistic, conceptual; theoretical significance - the results of the conducted analysis of cohesive properties of terminological lexis in the field of economics are inportant in deepening and spreading of epistemic properties in the branch of cognitive and social linguistics, discourse, lingua cultural logic, lexicography and others like that; the practical importance is in the use of theoretical statements of dissertation, conclusions and results in the normative courses of lexicology, theoretical grammar, stylistics of the Modern English Language, in writing term and diploma papers.
