Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of methods and information technology of lossless images compression using wavelet-transforms. Scientific results are: 1) method of grouping high-frequency transformations the wavelet-transform based on sing blocks independent processing of wavelet- coefficients and the image color components and blocks of most and low significant bit planes of wavelet-coefficients that allows to take into account more effectively statistical properties of various parts of the image at their coding; 2) analytical expressions for estimation of compression ratio for the image; 3) method of integer transform of color model for image based on the offered procedure which diminishes the size of brightness constituent elements and entropy of this constituent on 3-5%; 4) method of the rapid calculation wavelet-transform Haar based on the offered forming wavelet-coefficients for one passage-way on the matrix of values image component, that allows to decrease the time of finding coefficients in 1,5 times; 5) method of the integer arithmetic coding for sources with a different power of alphabet on the basis of the executed modification of algorithm ending encoding, that allows to encode coefficients with a different bit. The offered methods and information technology allow to decrease the requirement to data storages and lower loading on the communication channels of the automated systems of processing for information and management.
