Essay

Dissertation is devoted to problems of object-oriented modeling of fundamental cognitive processes, which determine human-human dialogue, and the implementation of the models obtained to the process of design of problem-independent Cognitive Dialogue Processor software. On the basis of analysis of existing cognitive models of perception and attention and formal models of problem-independent human-machine dialogue, a series of object-oriented models of perception and attention was elaborated. Theories of perception and attention offered by Neisser, Broadbent and Treisman were chosen as a theoretical background for object-oriented models. Unified Modelling Language (UML) was used as a basic means of modeling. Dissertation introduces a model of a dialogue process of two agents, a model of an artificial active agent of a dialogue, and architecture of Cognitive Dialogue Processor.
