Mykyta V. The Victim of a Crime in Criminal Law

This dissertation is devoted to the victim of a crime in criminal law. The paper establishes the significance of the victim of a crime and related circumstances for criminal law as well as defines the notion of the victim, delimitates it from similar notions and breaks it into types. The paper studies the victim as a corpus delicti characteristics related to the object of a crime and delimitates it from such a characteristics as the article of a crime as well as provides a comprehensive description of the circumstances related to the victim. The author formulates recommendations for the improvement of the criminal legislation in effect and the existing practices
