Essay

This dissertation is devoted to investigation into the impact of elevated temperatures and cyclic loadings on strain-and-stress state of reinforced concrete elements of ring section. Developed has been the method of experimental investigations into strength, stressability and crack-resistance of excentrically compressed reinforced concrete elements of ring section under the conditions of cyclic loadings and elevated temperatures. Experimental data have been obtained and recommendations have been worked out as to taking into account the impact of cyclic loadings and short-term heating on the diagram of deformation of concrete subjected to heterogeneous compression. Recommendations have also been elaborated concerning the design of strength, stressability and crack-resistance of reinforced concrete elements of ring section that work under the conditions of pole-alternating excentric compression and short-term heating up to 150C, which implies the application of diagrams of concrete and reinforcement deformation.
