In the thesis the new solution of the problem of decrease of metal consump-tion(power-to-weight ratio) of structural members is offered at established criteria of a failure-free operation in corrosive environments taking into account the requirements of European and home design standards. The problem of the substantiation of measures of primary and secondary protec-tion for structural members of a regular "crystalline" structures is formulated, the me-thodical approach to the task of the reliability requirements of the design shape taking into account the possibility of variation of means and methods of corrosion protection for a standard model of exploitation of tubular structures is set up. The executed corro-sion resistance calculation of a cross-rod systems is connected with allowance meas-ures of primary and secondary protection on the basis of signs of limit conditions of the first and second group. The conducted numerical researches including requirements to indice of primary (gzk) and secondary(gzn) protection, are made with the help of the design-computer complex "Structure CAD", that has allowed to define indexes of metal consumption for designed versions of structures of coatings and by calculation and experimental way to ground the ratio of reliability reserve for spatial tubular structures of cross-rod systems.
