Kotelevckya N. The treatment of the patients with acute purulent and exacerbated chronic apical periodontitis with dosed vacuum.

The thesis is devoted to development of a new technique of treatment of the patients with acute purulent and exacerbated chronic apical periodontitis, based on combined usage of dosed vacuum and drug complex for periapical therapy. "The apparatus for vacuum treatment of periodontitis" was created in order to apply this technique.The experimental research of influence of dosed vacuum on periodontal tissues when acute purulent and exacerbated chronic apical periodontitis has been done. The microbiological researches have proved expediency of a vacuum - drainage of root canals and periapical focus with consequent antibacterial therapy. The condition of local hemostasis of periodontal tissues. Drug complex with antiinflamatory, antimicrobic effect, normalizing condition of local hemostasis, stimulating reparative processes in periodontium has been offered.The efficiency of the designed technique is based in the considereble reduction of treatment, decrease of visits, high level of favorable result in the nearest and distant terms of observation.
