Kaladze N. Clinical and immunologic basis for complex treatment of chronic catarrhal gingivitis in children with rheumatoid arthritis at sanatorium health-resort conditions

The dissertation is purposed to the problem of efficiency increase in treatment of chronic generalized catarrhal gingivitis in children with rheumatoid arthritis at sanatorium health-resort conditions as well as to the problems of making basis and evaluation of treating measures complex, aimed at the treatment of this pathology in this category of patients. It was determined that the indeces characterizing the paradontal state of tissues in children with rhematoid arthritis as well as the indeces of general and local immune status, the structural and functional composition of bone tissue, biochemical and roentgenologic indeces depend on the degree of rheumatoid arthritis severity. Pathogenetically based complex of medical and prophilactic methods aimed at prevention of development and further progress of chronic generalized catarrhal gingivitis in children with rheumatoid arthritis was elaborated. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by the results of clinical, immunologic, densitometric and biochemical studies after the course of sanatorium health-resort treatment.
