The object of study: Neocomian-Lower Cenomanian deposits of autochthon of Pokuttya-Bukovyna part of the Carpathian Foredeep; the subject of research: lithological types of Neocomian-Lower Cenomanian rocks; the aim of study: to determine lithological-petrographical and sedimentology-paleooceanographical peculiarities of the Neocomian-Lower Cenomanian beds; the methods of investigation: mineralogical, petrographical, lithology-geochemistry, sedimentology-paleooceanographical, X-ray; practical value: the areal distribution of the accumulation stock - potential hydrocarbon reservoirs has been determined; scientific novelity: the types of lithological facies and their areal distribution was elucidated, matter composition and the structural and textural peculiarities of rocks were investigated, geology-paleooceanographical reconstructions of terrigenous and biogenic sedimentation have been done, sedimentical models were built; spheres of using: oil and gas geology.
