Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of vermin pear phytophagans, biological peculiarities of the most harmful species, and the dynamics of their numbers, food preferences and reasons of their mass propagation. For the first time a multipronged investigation has been carried out in pear orchards. In the course of it 84 species of injurious arthropodas were discovered. The resources of useful zoophagans were defined as well as their controlling role in restricting number of the most dangerous vermin in various agrocenosis of pear trees. The contemporary integrated system of pear tree protection has been evaluated. Insegar is considered to be the only means of protection from pear and codling moth, while dinitro-o-cresol is against eggs, mitaka is against larvas of pear tree fleas, zolon and new BI-58 are taken against imago of pear fruit saw-fly and a new BI-58 and zolon are used against pear bugs. Having used modern means of pear protection from vermin, net profit is 5060 hryvnas while level of profitability is 150,77%.
