Essay

This thesis is devoted to the development of new aspect of analysis of "else's" text semantics in modern music. The task of research is to determine the main point of neomythological intentions of art thinking in modern musical compositions with "else's" text. Presented ideas are based on the integration of neomythological and xenological tendencies in modern culture. The "else's" text phenomenon in modern music is examined in broad philosophical, cultural and literary context. In this thesis, new aspect of composer interpretation -"else's" text as genetic code of composition - is evolved, its typology is developed, and its similarity to structural principles of neomythological novel is investigated. The concept of neomythological intentions of art thinking is introduced in the work. By the example of instrumental music compositions by L. Grabovsky, D. Ligeti, A. Grinberg, V. Sylvestrov, O. Narbutaite, V. Baley, their realization is analyzed at the level of structure, semantics, and aesthetics.
