Navrots'kyj D. Forming of Ukrainian Insurance Market

Object is the process of establishing and development of insurance market. The main purpose of the research is determination of theoretical and methodological basis, substantiation of the course of forming and development of insurance market in Ukraine and determination of methods of realization of this process in transforming economy. Monographic, social monitoring, institutional analysis, comparing analysis, deductive, system economic and statistic analysis. The following were further developed: understanding of economic sense of the insurance; clarification of explanation of the insurance market as a part of financial market; substantiation of the priority course of reforms in insurance market state control system; determination of the mechanisms of realization of the priorities of the state policy of the insurance market of Ukraine development; proof of the necessity of the insurance market development in the forecasted period adequately to the general conception of anticipatory economic development of Ukraine; the following were improved: classification of the insurance markets according to the suggested and analyzed characteristics; systematizations of insurance functions; integration function was determined. Some of the results of the research were applied in the creation of the strategy of development of “Ostra-Kiev” JSIC and used in the activity of “Standart” insurance company. The main points of the research and its results were presented during two scientific conferences and one international forum.
