The dissertation focuses on the current issues of the criminological profile and prevention of cross-border drug trade in Ukraine. The following questions are investigated: the definition and characteristics of cross-border drug trade; the history of drug trade prevetion legislation; the criminological analysis of cross-border drug sales and its relationship to other crimes; determination of the phenomenon; the criminological profile of international criminal groups involved in cross-border drug sales in Ukraine; society-level prevention programmes and specialist cross-border drug trade intervention; inernational cooperation for the prevetion of this type of organizesd criminal activity.
