Pasichnyk H. Lexical, Semantic and Structural Peculiarities of the Discourse "Description of Nature" in the English Novels of 18th - the beginning of 20th centuries.

The comprehensive study of the discourse of nature in the novels of outstanding English writers of 18th - the beginning of 20th century has been done. Description as a constituent of the three main compositional-speech forms can be realized in various discourses, one of which is the discourse "description of nature/landscape". The study of landscape discourses presupposes the unity of lingual and extralingual aspects of analysis while viewing them from synchronic and diachronic positions. Constant and dominant characteristics of discourses of nature, peculiar to different authors, have been established. The obtained results are represented in tables and various frames.
