Essay

The dissertation deals with the study of chemical reactions of rare-earth (La, Pr, Nd, Gd, Dy, Yb), zirconium and chromium fluorides with metals Na, Zr. It has been found that zirconium and sodium-lead alloys reduce rare-earth, chromium and zirconium fluorides to elemental state. It has been shown that when nickel-molybdenum alloys (hastelloy) are in contact with the NaF-ZrF4 melt at 650 C, mainly the elements that are part of secondary phases.
