Lazepka V. Specialized banks: directions and perspectives of their development in Ukraine

Banking system of Ukraine and its role in economic development. The purpose of research: scientifically substantiate the necessity of creation specialized banks and its types in our country, and also to define basic methodological principles of activity the specialized banks, which will be created. Methods: induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis, modelling, generalization, supervision, groupment, typification. The most substantial ideas and results of dissertation goes into: the essences of "bank" and "banking system" concepts. It was established that the main difference between banks and financial mediators is the ability of banks to emit money. The classification of banks on different criterion was given. The different types of the specialized banks were considered, and the difference between them was explored. The ways of creation and the directions of using specialized banks in Ukraine were offered. The methodological approaches to forming the resource base of the specialized banks in Ukraine were developed; it was also offered to create such banks on the basis of mixed pattern of ownership.
