Essay

The thesis is devoted to problems of raicing the reliability of locomotives by improving the diagnostic provision and organisation of on-board locomotive systems of diagnosing. For organization of work of the on-board system of diagnosing the method of choosing diagnostic parameters.It is suggested to use an information significance index when making the algorithm of disrepair searching that will enable to compile programs of disrepair searching taking into account intercommunication of elements, their reliability and complexity of disrepair searching. To increase the reability of information obtained the method of choosing the periodicity of gathering information from sensors of the on-board system of diagnosing, and determining the period of updating of the information bout the condition of units under control is suggested.
