Podilchak O. Motives and Motivation of Crimes, Committed by Women.

This dissertation deals with the problems of motives and motivation of crimes, committed by women in Ukraine. Criminal law and criminological characteristics of these crimes, typical features of female criminals have been studied. The author gives definition of motives and motivation of criminal behaviour, specifies its types and functions, provides criminological characteristics of the main motives of female criminality, analyses gender peculiarities, differences in motivational sphere of women, who serve prison sentehces for committed crimes. The wide complex of means of prevention of female criminality is suggested, among which particular attention is paid to psychological means of correction of distortion of women's motivatinal field.
