Kyseliova A. The Archives Resources of Ukraine in the Global Information Network: Forms, Access, Perspective

The thesis is devoted to the analysis and characteristics of the Ukrainian archives resources in the global information network at the end of the XXth - beginning of the XXIth centuries. Different forms of resources, their classification criteria and information resources character of the archives services are analysed. It was examined a historiography of the information resources accessibility problem, positive and negative aspects of the representation the archives resources in the Internet. Also, it was elaborated a conceptual model of archives web-site structure, which is based on the interest of the Internet users. It was found out main achievements and obstacles on the way of formation the electronic archives information resources. This dissertation motivates proposals concerning further development of the archives services information resources and specifies perspective ways of development of the archives of Ukraine web sites as key centers of the information sphere of the State. The main results of the work found their practical introduction in the improvement of structure and information resources of the archives portal "Archives of Ukraine".
