The dissertation is devoted to the study of such items: study of contents and definition of concepts "land lot as an object of alienation" and "alienation of land lot"; analysis of Ukrainian and foreign legislation relating to alienation of land lots with the purpose to submit respective propositions; review of peculiarities of legal regulation of land lot alienation in order to ensure preservation of land destination, to preclude concentration of large land areas in the hands of a single owner, to prevent land speculations, to unite land lot owner and rural producer in the same person; revelation of peculiarities of legal regulation of land lot evaluation for alienation; study of legal aspects of government registration of land titles during their alienation; study of features of legal regulation of particular types of land lot alienation, such as alienation of land on a competitive basis, transfer of government-owned land lots into municipal property and municipal-owned land lots into national government property, alienation of lands to foreign persons
