Mazan V. Organizational and procedural issues of improvement of functioning of inquiry bodies.

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical and practical issues of functioning of inquiry bodies. The substance of inquiry in the criminal procedure in Ukraine is determined. The thesis also provides definitions of inquiry, inquiry bodies and a person conducting inquiry. The work especially concentrates on peculiarities of various criminal procedure activities of inquiry bodies, in particular, on observing the rights of individuals participating in such activities. Author also describes main directions of improvement of criminal procedure activity and organizational structure of inquiry bodies, principles of human resource development as well as material and technical academic provision of activities of subdivisions of inquiry bodies. Several concrete recommendations as for improvement of activities of inquiry bodies in general and conducting inquiry in particular are formulated.
