3. Об'єкт дослідження - the institute of judicial jurisdiction. Мета дослідження - The institute of judicial jurisdiction is considered in the dissertation, its legal nature, content and meaning is analyzed, the ways of legislative improvement and regulation of practice in the sphere of criminal justice were determined. Методи дослідження і апаратура - general scietific as well as specialized legal research methods. Теоретичні результати і новизна - The consideration of the different kinds of jurisdiction has formed the main part of the research work, including personal, subject-matter, territorial and special jurisdiction. The problems of development of military, juvenile and lay justice are considered in the context of using the rules of jurisdiction. Taking into the account the differentiation of composition of the court the criteria of determination of jurisdiction for the trial by jury, trial by a court and the trial, which is held with only professional composition were analyzed. Предмет і ступінь впровадження - According to the results of our research the recommendations and proposals concerning the improvement of criminal and procedural legislation were proposed.
