Thesis focuses on issues pertaining to the management of a commercial bank's liquidity . It examines a wide range of matters related to banking liquidity: the essence, purpose, approach and method of managing liquidity have been determined. The analysis of basic factors having influence on liquidity of commercial bank is conducted. Considerable attention in dissertation research is spared to development of effective mechanism of prognostication of current and short-term liquidity on the basis of imitation design of bank portfolio of assets and liabilities. The detailed analysis of existent organizational structures of bank is conducted, a model which provides optimum intercommunication of subdivisions and creates terms for the effective management by liquidity of bank is developed.
