Thesis is devoted to the problem of determining the contents of checking procedure in the activity of tax police. Tendencies of making and developing state tax police agencies and formation of their checking authorities are analyzed; a number of taxes and dues , which are controlled by tax police, are determined; characteristics of checking procedure, which is fulfilled by tax police, are formulated; the place of checking procedure in administrative process is determined and its stages are analyzed.
