The dissertation analyzes and systematizes socio-psychological characteristics of juvenile youths' political becoming. It finds out specific socio-psychological mechanisms which stimulate self-determination in politico-ideological sphere. Special psycho-diagnostic instrument is developed - the questionnaire of politico-ideological self-determination level which gauges important parameters of socio-psychological mechanisms. The level model of youths' politico-ideological self-determination is developed. The age dynamics and gender specificity of socio-psychological mechanisms of politico-ideological self-determination in extreme and middle youth is evaluated.
