Balabantseva О. Role of endotoxins of gramnegative florae in pathogenesis of chronic purulent odontogenic maxillary sinusitis.

The dissertation is devoted to a question of efficacy increase of treatment of patients with chronic purulent odontogenic maxillary sinusitis by inclusion in a complex of local therapy of Decasan and Tiotriasolin preparations. Treatment of 112 patients with chronic purulent odontogenic maxillary sinusitis is carried out. All patients have been divided into two clinical groups depending on a technique of local therapy, and also each group was subdivided into subgroups which are connected to the revealed disturbances in anti-endotoxin immunity. Changes in the contents of anti-endotoxin antibodies of different classes, IL-1b, IL-4, TNF-а in patients with chronic odontogenic maxillary sinusitis are determined. Prevalence of the lowered concentration of anti-endotoxin antibodies and specified cytokines of blood serum in patients of this group is established. Increased contents of IL-1b, IL-4, TNF-а, IgA, sIgA, anti-ET-sIgA in washouts from maxillary sinuses is revealed. Introduction in a complex of diseaselocal therapy of preparations Decasan and Tiotriasolin has caused immunomodulated effect both in group with low, and with the high contents of anti-endotoxin antibodies.
