This dissertation research studies psychological and neuroregulatorial disturbances in patients suffering from chronic sialoadenitis against the background of the persistency of the mumps and cytomegaly viruses. The study of the patients' psychological state showed levels of their anxiety and neurotism. The research resulted in a study of pathogenic links of the development of chronic sialodenitis on the levels of the central and peripheric sections of the innervation glandular apparatus that influences the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the performance of salivary glands. On the grounds of immunological, virological and sialosonographical researches, we have managed to diagnose the extent, in which the disease and structural alteration of salivary glands are systematic. The research that has been carried out allows us to recommend apparatus methods and psychological tests for the process of diagnosing chronic sialodenitis. We have developed a scheme of composite treatment of patients suffering from chronic sialodenitis that takes into consideration their psychological state and the extent of damage that occurred in the nervous apparatus of salivary glands.
