Samolyuk V. Legal Representation in the Ukrainian Criminal Procedure.

TThis Dissertation comprehensively and systematically covers the questions concerning the clarification of the judicial nature of legal representation in the criminal procedure, the establishment of the circumstances necessary for legal rep-resentation to arise in the sphere of criminal justice, and the detection of the com-bining signs that determine the place and role of a legal representative in the crimi-nal procedure and characterize the representative as an independent subject of pro-cedural actions. The considerable attention is paid to the study of the peculiarities in exercising the legal representation of the accused, the victim, the plaintiff, and the witness on the stage of opening a criminal case, on the stage of a pretrial in-quire, on judicial stages of the proceeding, and on the stages of sentence enforce-ment.
