Essay

On the basis of archival documents, published sources and foreign and Ukrainian scholarly literature the dissertation explores the policy of British government in regard to the post-war borders of Poland. It outlines the evolution of the British concept of revival of the Polish state and its territorial borders, and identifies the main factors of its development. The author traces down the relations between the countries of the "Big Three", clarifies the position of the USSR and the USA on the possibility of geopolitical changes in East European region.
