Essay

The thesis is about peculiarity of the clinical picture and morpho-functional status of the hepatobilliar system under gallstone disease, which is associated with Helicobacter infection, and especially Helicobacter (H.) pylori. Using the molecular-genetic and immunohistochemical method, Helicobacter species, and especially H. pylori was detected in hepatobiliar system in 89,1 % and 82,0 % respectively. Among the investigated Helicobacter species, H. pylori was found in 92,1 % of the cases.
