In dissertation is investigated complex of problems of theoretical and practical character of communication with formation of political culture of the person in conditions of transformation of a community depends not only on the already available global tendencies and modern challenges, but also appreciably from what will give themselves to know in the future. It provides the obligatory account of the ideas, checked up by century experience, and values of the people, in particular of its mentality as special charge of spiritual experience and traditions. It foresees obligatory consideration "through, tested by age-old experience ideas" and values of peoples, in particular his mentality as the special of spiritual experience and traditions, as a way of thinking, that coincides with the way of life. In work basic directions of forming of political culture of personality are definite in Ukraine, among which main there are national values and are bound from political by a sphere ethnic components of culture.
