Essay

A 2D-problem of investigation of the wave axisymmetric stress-strain state of thick-walled cylinders with spiral orthotrophic layers has been solved. Influence of load-pulse duration, geometrical dimensions, reinforcement parameters and layer materials on stress-strain state and strength of a cylindrical shell have been investigated. Specific features of the shell dynamics related to the occurrence of the torsional modes of vibrations have been established. The "swing" effect of radial fluctuations has been revealed.
