Assets management of insurance companies. Subsequent studies of economic essence of insurance companies assets; development and realization of effective assets management conception taking into account the specific of insurance activity. Methods: dialectical method of cognition, analysis and synthesis, economic-statistical methods, methods of groupment, historical and graphic analysis. Economic essence of insurance company assets and features of its organization taking into account the specific of insurance activity were exposed. It was developed: method of estimation the real cost of assets taking into account foreign experience; suggestions concerning changing the operating system of solvency estimation foreseen by EC Directives; and correlation system between assets and sources of its financing, taking into account liquidity loss risk. Practical recommendations concerning conducting of assets estimation, bankroll management, insurers solvency increasing and efficiency of their assets using were given.
