Essay

The dissertation thesis are devoted to research of I. Lysyak-Rudnitzkiy historiosophical concept research under the context of Ukrainian nation and Ukraine state formation processes. The analysis of I. Lysyak-Rudnitzkiy historiosophy, which describes the main problems of nation formation, was used to reconstruct the process of Ukrainian nation formation as a part of pan European national process. The term "nation" evolution and main approaches to its' understanding were also researched. The internal and external factors caused the long period of Ukrainian society out-of-state existence, as well as main cultural elements influenced Ukrainian nation formation, were described.
