Research objects: newly-bred grape varieties (Perlinka, Prazdnichnyi Magaracha, Ai-Petri and Kafa). Research objective: to reveal, on the basis of results arising from agrobiological and technological studies of the new varieties, the most promising ones to be introduced into commercial cultivation in Ukraine (West Premountainous-Littoral viticultural zone of the Crimea). Methods: field and laboratory methods to study varieties: refractometric method to determine sugar content; method of direct titration to determine titratable acid content; photoelectrocolorimetric method to determine biologically active substances in fresh grape berries; microvinification method to determine technological properties of the fruit; method of mathematical statistics to verify reliability of the data obtained; method to assess economical effectiveness of cultivating new grape varieties. Theoretical and practical results: agrobiological evaluation has enabled high-yielding varieties Perlinka, Prazdnichnyi Magaracha andKafa to be revealed that possess an increased resistance to diseases, which characteristic allows to recommend them for commercial cultivation in the West Premountainous-Littoral viticultural zone of the Crimea. The State Service for Protecting Rights to Plant Varieties has made the above-indicated grape varieties part of activities aimed at the development of a plan envisaging cultivation of recognized (promising) varieties in the Autonomous Republic of the Crimea. Novelty: new grape varieties Perlinka, Prazdnichnyi Magaracha, Ai-Petri and Kafa have been evaluated for the first time on a comparative basis against control varieties Aligote, Pervenets Magaracha, Cabernet Sauvignon and Antaeus magarachskii. The course pattern of phenological phases has been established. High yielding capacity combined with good quality of the fruit and wine made thereof, an increased resistance to diseases and profitability of their cultivation in the West Premountainous-Littoral Viticultural zone of the Crimea have been revealedin varieties Perlinka, Prazdnichnyi Magaracha and Kafa. Economical effectiveness: cultivation of varieties Prazdnicnhyi Magaracha, Kafa and Perlinka provides per hectare net profits of 4504.68 hrn, 4011.44 hrn and 3979.17 hrn, respectively. Implementation degree: viticulture. Sphere, branch of use: West Premountainous-Littoral viticultural zone of the Crimea.
