Essay

A matter for scientific enquiry: small-sized products from aggregate road cement concretes. The aim of the research: upgrading of small-sized element durability of road building at the expense of the enhancement of concrete density and strength through the use of the hyperpressing-in method complete with an optimal quantity of superplasticizers by the rational trial-and-error method of aggregate concrete composition. Research techniques: theoretical, experimental laboratory and natural techniques in integration. Theoretical and practical results: studies of regularities of hyperpressing effect on aggregate concrete propertiest; recommendations by composition optimization of aggregate hyperpressing concretes as well as manufacturing methods and hardening of small-sized products from such concretes have been worked out. Innovation: a physical model of hyperpressing has been proposed and its amount and duration have been determined; the trial-and-error method hyperpressed concrete composition which allows to give their high density and strength; the regularities of hyperpressing effect on the properties of the cement stone and concrete have been appreciated. The extent of integration: the results of the research were used in the development of specifications 26.6-24488934-002-2003 in Ukraine "Concrete sidewalk products specifications", as well as in production of a development batch of the sidewalk tile. The field of application: design, building, reconstruction and recovery of cement and concrete pavements from aggregate elements.
