Essay

The thesis is devoted to the theoretical research of microwave properties of surface wave resonators (SWR), microwave filters and devices with Josephson junctions (JJ) on the base of SWR. A spectra of eigen resonance frequencies and unloaded quality-factor of half-wave and quarter-wave resonators has been estimated. Optimum conditions of excitation of the oscillations in half-wave and quarter-wave SWR have been found. Conditions of getting maximum value of unloaded quality-factor are theoretically determined. The opportunity of exhaustion of a eigen frequency spectrum of SWR in cutoff waveguide has been shown. It is theoretically analyzed the SWR with topology elements as slits in a conducting film. The change of unloaded quality-factor of the SWR depending on quantity of JJs and their resistance has been estimated. It is shown, that the volt-power sensitivity of a square-law microwave detector on the basis of SWR with JJ array has the order of 104 V/W. Amplitude-frequency characteristics (АFC) of filters, dependence of the central frequency and AFC of filters from position of SWR in a waveguide and its relative each to other are calculated. Frequencies of related waveforms of SWR with an yttrium-iron garnet film located in a standard rectangular waveguide depending on an external dc magnetic field have been estimated. Key words: oscillations, microwave frequencies, surface wave resonator, eigen frequency spectra, quality-factor, surface wave resonator with Josephson junction array, microwave filter, quasi-optic excitation.
