Chorny R. Banditry according to the Criminal Law of Ukraine.

The complex of theoretical and practical nature related to characteristics of criminal and legal counteraction against banditry has been researched in the dissertation. The main provisions related to the history of development of legislation on criminal responsibility for banditry in Ukraine, the state of research of the problem of responsibility for the crime in the science of criminal law, juridical analyses of formal components of a crime stipulated by Article 257 of Criminal Code of Ukraine, separation of banditry from closely related crimes and qualification of actions related to organizing a gang and participating in it and in assaults committed by the gang have been characterized.
