Essay

Object – sulfur, sulfur pastes and concretes. The purpose is the development of effective compositions of polymer-sulfur pastes and concretes resistible to actions of temperature. Used are the methods for researching temperature deformations and strains, estimation of crack resistance, fire tests. The results are rational compositions with increased heat and fire protection characteristics and process parameters to produce them. New data on physical-mechanical and thermal-physical properties,on crack resistance, and on the influence of additives on combusti- bility of sulfur pastes and concretes have been obtained. The results were applied for protection of sulfur concrete with gypsum fire panels. Applications – heat and fire protection of sulfur concrete structures.
