The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of the essence, social-legal description, to the structure, the system and the tendencies of the development of the system of the labour legislation of Ukraine. In the thesis the notions and concepts of the researched issue have been broadened. The analysis of the Ukrainian legislation as an integral system is analysed, and the role of the labour legislation and the factors of its formation are defined. The enactment as a structural element of the system of the labour legislation of Ukraine is defined.
