The thesis deals with the complex research of theoretical and practical problems, connected with the legal regulation of means of labour incentive in the conditions of market economy. The thesis points out that the concept of «encouragement» and «incentive» correlate with each other as a part and a whole. The thesis formulales the concept of material and moral incentive of workers. The concepts of status, intellectual-creative and organizational incentive of workers have been formulated.
