The thesis deals with a problem of improvement mechanical properties of sintered silicon nitride based ceramics due to forming texture after hot extrusion of the dense sintered materials and due to forming structure with the small sizes of regions of coherent dispersion and ramifide framework of intergranular phase after deformation in the high pressure cells. It is exposed, that after extrusion material contains the greater amount of elongated grains b-Si3N4, considerable part of which is oriented along direction of deformation. It is shown, that the heterogeneous tense condition of material in deformation area is the reason of forming of the directed anizotropic structure. The model of mechanism of high temperature deformation silicon nitride based materials is offered. After deformation in the high pressure cells was obtained values HV10 up to 18 GPа and К1С up to 8,2 МPаЧm1/2. In deformed material in a plane perpendicular to direction of extrusion was obtained the value К1С 12 МPаЧm1/2 at HV10 ~ 16GPа. The achieved properties of the investigated material promote increase of wear resistance of nozzles.
