Essay

The thesis deals with the investigation of disorders of renal function, fibrinolytic system and antioxidative defense in hypo- and hyperthyroidism, evaluation of eskusan effectiveness for their correction.The experiments on 98 white rats has established that in case of hypo- and hyperthyroidism eskusan increases antioxidative activity, regulates the intensity and structrure of fibrinolysis in renal and thyroid tissue.In 48 patients with Graves' disease and 53 - with hypothyroidism it was revealed, that administration of eskusan into the complex therapy of patients promotes normalization of diuresis, plasma creatinine concentration, increase of glomerular filtration rate, absolute sodium ion reabsorbtion with the increase of its plasma level, resumes normal intensity of urine acidification, the structure of plasma and urine fibrinolysis. We have elaborated and introduced into clinical practice the administration of this medicine into complex therapy of patients with Graves' disease and hypothyroidism.
