Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to development of analysis of project failures with the use of method of uncertainty evaluation and subsequent clarification of the results. Results show the lacks of analysis traditional design accidents analysis taking into account the sensitivity studies. The results which get using proposed methodology allows to define, both maximally conservative and realistic values of safety margin to the acceptance criteria. Also proposed to conduct quantitative estimation of each input parameters on the value of analyzed parameter. Finally this allows to define the most preferable directions of improvement of nuclear power plant designs. As for plants which are built, and also for revision of the systems of operating NPP, that is especially important from point of necessity to provide additional measures for the life extension procedures
