Essay

The physical phenomena arising when the lamellar gratings of finite extent are being excited. To build mathematical models of some devices of microwave electronics and antenna techniques with the lamellar gratings tacking into account finite extent of the gratings. The influence of the waves of space charge in the electron flow on the appearance of the far-field patterns of diffraction radiation is investi-gated. The model of the antenna based on the planar dielectric waveguide and the lamellar grating is built. The basic method is the method of singular integral equations. Sphere of use is the microwave generators and the antennas containing the lamellar gratings.
