The Dissertation is dedicated to research of processes on creation museums of Kiev region, and their documentation funds. There were established: stages and ways, personal contribution of scientists and cultural workers, history specialists in formation documentary funds of Kiev region museums. There were found out peculiarities of archive documents' organization, scientific processing, description, storage, storage improvement by comparative analysis of archive organizations and museums of Kiev region. Documentary funds of Kiev region museums were explored. The Dissertation reveals forms and dimensions of archive information use and role of museum archive documents in scientific-educational activity
