Pecherytsya O. Methodology of reliability indicators estimation for risk assessment of NPP operation

The dissertation is dedicated to development of methodology for estimation of the reliability indicators for NPP safety significant systems elements, based upon to the specific and generic primary information on defects and number of demands (hours of operation). In the dissertation the principles of specific and generic data combining for estimation of the reliability parameters were determined in the dissertation based upon to the analysis of scientific and regulatory documents and taking into account the practical experience. The applicability level of various models for reliability parameters estimation was analyzed under the methodic development along with assessment of the possibility of applying of various Bayesian methods for the information combining in cases of censored samples of the primary data. The developed methodic was applied under the probabilistic safety assessment level 1 for some of Ukrainian NPP operational units.
