The dissertation is presented by a combined research, which includes the modern generally-theoretical and comparatively-legal aspects, as well as the mechanisms of formation and development of the code for the legal status of an officer of the Internal Affairs in the CIS member-countries. Initially, the author analyses development of the post-Soviet, current CIS countries in the end of XX – beginning of XXI century. Later, he presents the research of the modern law-enforcement system of France.
