Antonenko I. The records management abroad: history, law, theoretical grounds and technologies

In the dissertation there were researched the problems of records management abroad from the middle of the XX century to the beginning of the XXI century. On the basis of comprehensive analysis of law, guidelines, methodics, scientific literature of Australia, USA, Canada and Great Britain there was studied records management contents, peculiarities and problems at different stages of its development. The terms and concepts in the area of records management have been considered and it was proposed usage of internationally adopted terms in Ukraine. The peculiarities of records management organization in conditions of modern information tehnologies mass implementation have been researched in detail. The main perspective directions of using in Ukraine the records management world experience in the area of record creation and functioning have been defined.
