The Object of research: processes occurring in contact friction surfaces of the multidisk brake, swabbed and coolled with oil. The aim of research: improvement work processes in multidisk tractor brake mechanisms with unified pair of friction working in oil bath, for account of the choice their rational parameters. Methods of research and apparatus: methods to theory of probability and mathematical statistic, methods of the decision of the differential equations, methods of tenzor are used. The theoretical and practical results: method of the estimation of the loss of power in tractor transmission when installing multidisk brake mechanisms, working in oil; the methods of the choice parameters of friction pair of multidisk brake, working in oil are designed. Novelty: the influence of a level coolling oil in brake mechanism on value of the loss of power in tractor transmission in open condition of brake disks is defined; the influence of friction disk parameters, characteristic of oil and intensity ofthe groth of the pressure in drive of the brake mechanism for time of its cut-in is revealed; the influence of the change weight and power parameters of wheel tractor on parameters and numbers of unified friction pair of multidisk brake mechanisms is defined. The extent of application: results of dissertation work are used by Kharkiv plant tractor selfpropelled carriage, assotiation "Ukrtraktor", OSC "Agromash". Field of usage: tractor construction.
